2 (415 ml) cans Baked Beans
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1/2 yellow onion diced small
1 teaspoon garlic chopped fine
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup molasses
1 tsp liquid smoke
1/2 tsp dried mustard
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 slices of crispy bacon chopped or crumbled
Heat pot on medium and add oil and onion. Cook for 5-8 minutes
until the onion gets soft, then add garlic and cook for an additional
minute. Add the rest of the ingredients and either cook on low
on stove top or in the oven at 175 C for an hour.
