130 g. skinless hazelnuts
115 g. semi-sweet chocolate
227 g. butter (room temp)
1 cup sugar
5 eggs
1/2 cup flour
Preheat oven 160 c.Â
Using a food processor, grind chocolate and hazelnuts down to a fine paste. Add butter and sugar, pulse until thoroughly incorporated.
Scrape down bowl and add flour and mix. Fill one round cake pan. Spread the batter evenly. Bake 35-40 mins until toothpick comes out clean.
Top with melted chocolate, fruit, ice cream or whip cream.
