100 g melted butter
240 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
2 dl milk
1 dl 36% fat cream
1 dl sparkling water
Melt the butter and let it cool.
Sift the dry ingredients into a bowl. Add the melted butter, milk, and cream to the bowl and stir to combine.
Add the sparkling water and stir in. Don’t mix too well or whisk — you want the batter to be just blended.
Heat the waffle iron well. Add batter to bake your first waffle. Amount of batter will depend on the size of your waffle maker. Mine takes 4.5 minutes to cook perfectly.
Place the waffle on a cooling rack, serve soon after baking.
For serving: berries or jam and whipped cream, or whatever you prefer
