1 large egg white
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder
4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
70 grams cold cubed butter
Preheat oven to 220 C. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
In a small bowl, stir together the egg, milk and vanilla. In a
mixing-bowl, place the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in butter. Add nuts. Make a well in the center.
Stir in wet mixture to make a soft dough. Pat into a circle, 2 cm
thick. Cut circle into six wedges. Place on baking sheet. Paint top
with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 18 minutes.
