170 Grams bacon
2 large eggs
2 large egg yolks
300 ml 13% cream
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
pinch pf nutmeg
1 cup grated cheddar
Preheat oven to 190 c.
Make the Simple Pie crust recipe and blind bake 10 mins.
In a medium skillet, cook the bacon lardons until crisp. Drain on paper
towels. Arrange bacon evenly on the bottom of the baked crust.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with the cream. Add the rest of the
ingredients and whisk to combine. Pour into the prepared crust and
bake until the custard is golden and puffed, 30-35 mins.
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
2 teaspoons dark brown sugar
i tablespoon chopped garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3/4 cup olive oil
mixed salad
Place all salad dressing ingredients into a small jar and shake well.
